About Me
Hi! I’m Ian, a 22-year-old Media Student at South Tyneside College. Welcome to my little corner of the internet!
Creativity is my passion, whether it’s through photography, videography, or storytelling. As someone who loves exploring the power of media, I’ve built this blog to share my journey—from navigating college life to capturing meaningful moments behind the camera.
A Bit About My Background:
I have a rich and diverse story, shaped by my experiences growing up in foster care and having SEND. These experiences give me a unique perspective on life and inspire the work I do today.
Currently, I’m apart the Student Union as the Learner’s Voice Lead, where I advocate for my peers and run an LGBTQ+ support group. Balancing these responsibilities with coursework, I’m also diving into projects like a photography assignment focusing on emotions in young people.
Beyond college, I’m preparing for an incredible adventure—participating in Camp America. As a counselor based in America (from June 2025 to early September 2025) , I’ll be combining my love of creativity and mentoring, creating unforgettable experiences for young campers.
Things I Love:
- Coffee Enthusiast: You’ll often catch me with a venti vanilla latte in hand.
- Music Aficionado: My favorite song? ‘Austin’ by Dasha—it’s been stuck in my head for weeks.
- Travel Bug: Excitedly planning a post-Camp America trip through New York, Austin, Nashville, and Las Vegas.
- Fashion Finds: Always on the lookout for the latest trends—I’m a total shopping addict.
- The Vamps Superfan: Blasting their tunes is an instant mood booster.
